In brief

For a fashion accessories maker with several factories we built a private ordering portal. Retailers sign up with their VAT number and are approved; they browse the catalogue by factory, category and season, pick material and colour and send the order, which moves from draft to approved to shipped. The company runs everything from an admin panel, with Excel export.

Context

Orders came by email and phone, from PDF catalogues that changed every season. Prices and available materials varied by product and by customer.

The problem

Every order had to be retyped and checked by hand, with the risk of ordering discontinued materials or outdated prices.

What we did

  1. 01

    Approved accounts only

Sign-up with company details and approval by the company. Two-factor authentication available.

  2. 02

    A live catalogue

Products by factory, category and season; seasons can be shown or hidden. Materials with colours and images, excluded or custom-priced per product.

  3. 03

    Orders with a status

Draft, pending approval, approved, shipped, cancelled. Each step is visible to the retailer.

  4. 04

    Panel and numbers

Admin built on Laravel Nova: metrics on customers, orders and products, order export to Excel for production.

How it went

Orders arrive already structured, on current materials and prices, and the export goes straight to production.

FAQ

Why not an off-the-shelf B2B shop?

Because the logic of factories, seasons and per-product material prices was specific to the client, and the catalogue had to stay private.

Can prices differ by product?

Yes, each material can be excluded or custom-priced on a single product.
