The right funding call, and invoices that follow its rules.

We support our clients in European, national, regional and Chamber of Commerce funding calls for digitalisation: we find the right call, check eligibility, write the technical project and prepare quotes and invoices that meet the reporting rules.

The problem

Funding calls are lost in the details.

A call can cover servers, workstations, software and consulting, but only if the costs fall under the eligible items, the quotes are drawn up as the call requires and the invoices carry the right descriptions and CUP code. A mistake on an invoice or a cost in the wrong category only shows up at reporting, when the grant is already at risk. People running a business don't have time to read every call, and those who write applications often don't know the technical side.

How it works

From the call to the final report.

  1. 01

    Finding calls

We follow EU programmes, national and PNRR measures where relevant, Lazio Region calls, Chamber of Commerce vouchers and instruments such as SIMEST funds. We flag the ones that fit your project, not every call that's open.

  2. 02

    Eligibility check

Company size, ATECO code, location, de minimis rules, eligible costs, co-financing, deadlines. We check first whether applying makes sense, so no time goes into an application that can't succeed.

  3. 03

    Technical project and budget

We write the technical part of the project: objectives, work, timing, expected results, with a budget split by the call's cost items. It's the part we know best, because it's our everyday work.

  4. 04

    Quotes and application

We prepare our quotes with the descriptions and breakdown the call requires, coordinate those of other suppliers and support you or your adviser in submitting the application.

  5. 05

    Delivery and reporting

We carry out the work and issue invoices with descriptions that match the call's cost items and the CUP code on each one, including when invoicing in advances. We gather proof of payment and documentation and prepare the final report.

Why Cloudfactory

We know what's being bought. And how to report it.

People who write applications don't usually install servers, and people who install servers don't usually read funding calls. We do both. For an accounting firm we handled a Rome Chamber of Commerce voucher for the twin digital and green transition: a server, four workstations, monitors and consulting on cloud document sharing with clients, data analysis, integration with the accounting software and a continuity plan. The quote and invoice descriptions follow the call's itemisation rules, with the CUP code on every invoice and invoicing in advances.

FAQ

Before you apply.

Do you guarantee the grant will be awarded?

No. The outcome depends on the ranking, the funds available and the funding body's assessment. Our job is to make sure the application is complete, consistent with the call's rules and that the costs can be reported.

What is the CUP and why must it be on invoices?

The CUP (Codice Unico di Progetto) identifies an investment funded with public money. Many calls require it on every invoice and payment: without it, the cost may not be recognised.

Can a grant pay for servers and workstations?

Often, yes, if the call lists hardware among eligible costs and the purchase is part of a digitalisation project. Limits and percentages vary from call to call: we check them during the eligibility check.

Do you handle the application itself?

We prepare the technical part, the budget and the quotes and support you through submission. Tax and corporate matters stay with your accountant or adviser, whom we work alongside.

Do you help with public tenders too?

Yes, on the technical side: for a financial services firm we reviewed and rewrote the technical offer sub-criteria of a public tender.
